Dallas, TX, Jul. 17, 2017 – Dallas-based technology integrator GDT today announced Tom Ducatelli has been named Executive Vice President of Sales, effective immediately. As EVP of Sales, Ducatelli will have responsibility for all of the company’s sales organization including over 50 Account Executives throughout the United States.
Ducatelli is a Global Sales and Operations Executive, with a 26-year track record of transforming technology focused businesses from product centric to solutions centric sales and operations models. Mr. Ducatelli demonstrates hardware, software and Infrastructure services thought leadership expertise across a wide spectrum of IT solutions and verticals within Global IT solutions providers.
An Industry Veteran and Thought Leader
Previously Ducatelli served as Executive Vice President of U.S. Commercial Sales at PCM. Prior to PCM Ducatelli was Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Zones Inc. based in Seattle, WA for 9 years.  Ducatelli was Senior Vice President of U.S. Sales at Tech Data Corporation a $20 billion multi-national distributor of IT products. Prior to that he served as senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Dallas-based CompuCom Systems Inc. a $1.7 billion IT reseller and solution provider he joined in 1994. Prior to CompuCom Ducatelli spent six years as a national sales executive with mid-range computer manufacturer Digital Equipment Corp.
Ducatelli is adept at developing transformational sales and marketing strategies, developing new business markets and applying cross-functional leadership efforts to accelerate revenue, profits and business within information technology focused companies. Ducatelli has led the successful transformation of teams with more than 800 resources within the specific solution verticals of enterprise software, hardware, infrastructure solutions and managed services ranging from mid-market to Fortune 500 organizations.
Mr. Ducatelli has operational and vertical market experience within the IT solutions industry focused on data center and converged infrastructure, virtualization, cloud computing, mobility, retail mobile point of sale, managed services and infrastructure solutions.
