GDT Advanced Solutions Expands NOC Facility Capabilities

In response to greater customer demand for cloud, Cisco SMARTnet, and managed services, GDT Advanced Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GDT, has expanded its primary Network Operations Center (NOC) facility and solutions capabilities. The NOC is slated for opening in mid April.

With expansion, the new 3,200 square foot state-of-the-art facility doubles its previous physical footprint in the GDT Customer Service Center in Dallas, Texas. It allows for two and one-half times the number of GDT Advanced Solutions NOC engineers and a nearly tenfold increase in services. GDT Advanced Solutions NOC engineers monitor the world, local, and in-facility events that threaten businesses and facilitate the services that provide optimum performance of a client’s mobile workforce and customer base.
“Last year’s 125% growth in managed services revenue was a more than sufficient indication of what our customers want and need,” said JW Roberts, GDT owner and CEO. “We are fully invested in this opportunity to stand behind our customers, beef up their operations, let them make best use of their employees and let us take care of the time consuming tasks that are integral to their success in the long run.”
With the NOC expansion, the third for GDT in only four years, GDT Advanced Solutions is able to more efficiently deliver the cloud and managed services that allow for the collection of data and, through analysis, enable actionable insights and smarter, faster decisions. The GDT cloud service offering now include Desktop as a Service (DaaS), Business Apps as a Service (BAaas), Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), as well as Hosted Microsoft Exchange and tools that enable the proof of compliance and standards performance and secure a business, its data and its bottom line. GDT cloud services complement the selection of Cisco SMARTnet and managed services offerings that include asset management and monitoring that can mitigate the costs and consequences associated with downtime and delays.
“There is so much opportunity right now for our clients to take advantage of new technologies and ideas. It can be overwhelming.” said Anil N. Pudhiya Vettle, president of GDT Advance Solutions. “We’re here to make sense of the possibilities. To assess needs, streamline processes, and substantially impact our client’s operation and make the best use of technology in driving business outcomes.”
